 Welcome to my Health and wellness blog!

Hi, I’m thrilled to have you here on my health and wellness journey. My background as a nurse working in A&E and on medical and surgical units gave me a firsthand view of how lifestyle choices profoundly impact our health. Over time, I noticed a pattern: many patients’ struggles with physical and mental health were rooted in lifestyle factors. I still remember a conversation with a senior nurse early in my career, who pointed out how patients seemed to be getting sicker year by year. This realisation sparked my passion for preventive health and wellness, inspiring me to create this blog.

Through my own experiences, research, and a love for holistic well-being, I hope to share insights that empower you to make healthier choices.

Beyond nursing, I’ve had the opportunity to travel widely, live and work in different countries and even run my own business. When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with family, friends, my pets, and horses -my lifelong love for animals began with riding horses as a child. Whether it’s working out in the gym, exploring the countryside or enjoying the seaside, I’m happiest outdoors in wellies or trainers (though I do love dressing up for a night out, too!).
